Celtic Connections 2017: 14 days to gigs annoucements

The summer season is over and it is just 14 days until the announcement the programme for Celtic Connections 2017.  

The Celtic Connections team at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall had an excellent summer, taking the GRIT Orchestra (pictured) to both WOMAD Festival and Edinburgh International Festival, where the show sold out the Edinburgh Playhouse. Both shows received several 5 star reviews and were an absolute joy to witness.cc2017-grit2

With January 2017 in our sights, the organising team are preparing for Celtic Connections 2017. The full programme will be announced on Thursday 27 October and they are looking forward to sharing another two and a half weeks of 2,100 artists playing 300 events at 1 brilliant festival in Glasgow.
