Argyll Convention 2016 – two weeks to go!

The Argyll Convention, now in its fourth year, takes place in Oban on Scotland’s west coast, a popular destination for holiday-makers and day-trippers.

The Convention runs from Tuesday 2 August to Thursday 4 August 2016 with a Songs of Praise event on the Friday evening.  This means that there is just two weeks until the event.

This year’s theme is Knowing God, the Suffering Sovereign and the two main speakers are Rev. Dominic Smart and Rev. Angus Macrae.

Dominic will speak at the evening sessions on ‘God; Holy, Sovereign, Faithful’; and Angus will speak at the morning Bible readings on ‘Jesus, Man of Sorrows’.

Various Christian charities will have stands in the Convention hall, including Christian Institute, Bethany Christian Trust and Steadfast Global. Some will give short presentations on their work in the afternoons.argyll convention ad
