Revival back on FM is just a few days away

The waiting is almost over for the return of Revival ‘sounding great’ on 100.8

Plans are well advance for the new FM transmitter site on the Kilsyth Hills to beam out Revival on 100.8 once again all over Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire plus Kirkintilloch, Lenzie and surrounding areas of central Scotland.

This follows a period when the 100.8 FM signal and reception area has been greatly curtailed.  This was due to the very low aerial height since the move away from Stuart House, a former 19-storey residential tower that will be demolished later in 2016.

Revival FM had to remove the FM transmitting equipment from Stuart House following a related vandalism incident. Revival has been transmitting on 100.8 FM from Stuart House since 3 September 2006 until 11 July 2016.

Revival should be in a position to advise on the switch-on date from the replacement transmitter site within the next few days.
