This Friday, 31 May, from 8.00pm, The Gospel Blues Train with Lins Honeyman will be a truly global affair.

Stopping off at as many different countries as possible, this week’s show will feature gospel blues music from acts originating from Finland, Norway, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, USA, Canada, Ghana, Holland and Austria to show that blues and gospel is an international language shared by many nations.

In addition, all four corners of the United Kingdom will make an appearance with Scottish trio the Simon Kennedy Band, England-based, Jamaica-born soul singer Ruby Turner, Welsh outfit the Tim Crahart Blues Band and Northern Irish troubadour Brian Houston all flying their respective home flags.

The Gospel Blues Train with Lins Honeyman ‘Around the World’ special, Friday 31 May at 8.00-9.00pm; Saturday 1 June at 7.00-8.00pm and Tuesday 4 June 2019 at 10.00pm plus Catch Up anytime. Tune in on 93FM in the Glasgow area and 100.8 in Cumbernauld area plus DAB+ digital radio in Glasgow.
