The Gospel Blues Train Good Friday Special

This Friday from 8.00pm, The Gospel Blues Train with Lins Honeyman, features an exclusive interview with Grammy Award-winning gospel vocal group The Fairfield Four.

Formed in 1921 in Nashville, the group has seen various members pass through its ranks and famously contributed to the soundtrack of the Coen Brothers film ‘O Brother Where Art Thou’ in 2000 whilst their most recent album ‘Still Rockin’ My Soul’ topped the Best Roots Gospel Album category at last year’s Grammys.

Lins caught up with the foursome before an appearance at the 2015 Southern Fried Music Festival at Perth Concert Hall to find out the secret to the group’s longevity.

The Gospel Blues Train, Good Friday, 25 March at 8.00-9.00pm on 100.8 Revival FM.  Repeated Saturday 26 March at 7.00pm plus Catch Up anytime.
