M&D’s funfair incident: police ask for images

Police Scotland officers working on the investigation into the incident at M&D’s have set up a dedicated email address which the public can send images/footage into.  The email address is:

rollercoaster@scotland.pnn.police.uk

Police continue to appeal to anyone who was within the park during the time of the incident and who may have footage or images, either on mobile phones or cameras, to send them directly to the dedicated inbox.

  • Eight children and two adults were injured after a rollercoaster derailed and crashed at the M&D’s theme park close to Strathclyde Park near Motherwell, Lanarkshire.  Police said at the time of the incident that the injured were all being treated at local hospitals. Six ambulances and six fire engines were at the M&D’s theme park near Strathclyde Park, Motherwell after being called at 3.37pm on Sunday 26 June.  The theme park was evacuated shortly after.
