The Our World programme for this Sunday, 10th July is presented and produced by Gill Anderson and features these topics:
Faith under fire in Nigeria, India, China and Turkey – Release International bring us up to date with persecution of Christians in each of these countries and tells how they are alongside in support, both practical, emotional and spiritual, ensuring these precious brothers and sisters know they are not alone or forgotten.
A passion for saving lives in South Sudan where infant mortality is very high, Mission Aviation Fellowship are flying the  trained midwives, who are deployed around the country to strengthen the midwifery service and contribute to the goal of reducing maternal deaths.
Sophie Pearson tells of her experience going to Brazil for her gap year with Tearfund, has changed her attitude to climate change, given her more confidence, and encouraged her to consider working wit a charity when she complete university.
Shortage of Bibles in Cuba – the reason?  In the past 10 years the number of Christians has doubled. Since the beginning of 2013 over 500,000 Bibles have been distributed. Then last year was a historic one for Bible distribution, when over 250,000 Bibles were given out- Scottish Bible Society.
