Open Doors in Myanmar – where the persecution against minority groups becoming Christian led to families fleeing to India, where they continued to be hounded for being Christian.
Christian Aid in Iraq –  an update on the situation within Iraq as thousands seeking refuge in Iraqi Kurdistan.  Christian Aid partners are providing networking programmes for women and children, helping to alleviate the feeling of hopelessness.

Anniesland Storehouse Foodbank – approximately 40-60 people and families come each Saturday for food and toiletries.  Anniesland in the west of Glasgow, work in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde with a series of practical cookery classes andstorehouse in partnership with British Red Cross programme helping families re-unite when an individual has had to flee persecution.  This is just one example of the sterling work carried our by Foodbanks across the country. Based in Anniesland, Storehouse distribute donations of food and toiletries to those in greatest need – local residents, refugees and asylum seekers.  Open every Saturday 10.00am – 12 noon for drop-in and referrals and every Wednesday 1.30 – 3.30pm for referrals and appointments.
