Our World this week: Sunday at 7.00pm
The Our World programme on Sunday 17 January 2016 at 7.00pm is presented as usual by Gill Anderson.  This week, Gill features these topics:
Open Doors – secret children in  Columbia, Northern Nigeria, Bangladesh and the Palestinian Territories.  These are children who love Jesus, whose families have suffered loss, bereavement and displacement because of their faith.
Lynne Paterson, Tearfund’s Scotland director shares the stories her colleagues brought back from a recent visit to anti-trafficking projects in Nepal and India where love is abounding in the red light district as girls are rescued and restored. Operation Mobilization – Turkey, using creative arts ministry such as illusionists, unicyles, puppets and energetic music as building blocks of ministry  to Muslims. The Bible Correspondent Course have devised an open air outreach to each of Turkey’s 81 provinces over 18 months, called the ‘1881 Project’.
Urban Saints with their ‘All Inclusive? Project’  to train churches, and independent children and youth groups with the inspiration and confidence to reach out to children and young people with additional needs, in their communities and transform their experience of church.
