Bob joined Revival FM in May 2015 following 10 years with Glasgow based Celtic Music Radio 95FM where he was a founder director.  For six years, Celtic Music Radio broadcast to Glasgow on 1530AM until the service transferred to 95.0 FM on 1 July 2014.  Celtic Music Radio is a community of interest service supporting singers, songwriters and Scottish culture.  The programme service was based on many years of attending the huge Celtic Connections festival held in January each year throughout Glasgow city venues and based at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Celtic Fusion on 100.8 Revival FM is a mix of music from Celtic lands around the world plus new releases from Scottish artists and singer-songwriters with some spice from classic album tracks with news and gig information and the occasional guest.

Bob has worked mostly in the media in national and local newspaper sales and marketing; in local commercial radio with Radio Clyde and as a founder director of Paisley based Q96 when the station launched on 96.3 FM in September 1992.  He then had a four year stint as a director with Castle Rock FM 103 in Dumbarton which was rebranded as Your Radio.  Bob was with the BBC for 15 years as Programme Co-ordinator for the late Jimmy Young Programme on BBC Radio 2 when at the BBC Radio Helpline and then he was a ‘digital champion’ with BBC Reception Advice for the digital television switchover.

He is currently a governor/director with Heartland Radio Foundation Ltd., t/a Heartland FM on 97.5 FM across Perthshire.

At 100.8 Revival FM, Bob is also the content editor for revival.fm and publishes the weekly Revival e-newsletter.
