Singer Ruby Turner guests on Gospel Blues Train

On Friday 29 March from 8pm, The Gospel Blues Train with Lins Honeyman features an exclusive interview with Jamaica-born, UK-based soul singer Ruby Turner. 

In an expansive career that dates back to the 1980s, she has had a string of acclaimed solo releases and has collaborated with the likes of Bryan Ferry, Mick Jagger, Steve Winwood and many others whilst her partnership with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra has seen her become a mainstay in live venues around the world. 

Lins caught up with Ruby over the phone as she was travelling to a live performance to find out more about her long and varied career.
