Sounding Great on 100.8 gets nearer

The waiting is almost over for the return of Revival ‘sounding great on one hundred point eight.’

Plans are well advance for the new FM transmitter site on the Kilsyth Hills to beam out Revival on 100.8 once again all over Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire plus Kirkintilloch, Lenzie and surrounding areas of central Scotland.sargent-law-60m-tower-96-3-fm-mixed-pol-atop-140915

This follows a period when the 100.8 FM signal and reception area has been greatly curtailed.  This was due to the very low aerial height since the move away from Stuart House, a former 19-storey residential tower that will be demolished later in 2016.

Revival FM had to remove the FM transmitting equipment from Stuart House following a related vandalism incident. Revival has been transmitting on 100.8 FM from Stuart House since 3 September 2006 until 11 July 2016 when the reduced temporary arrangement started.

Get ready to tune-in once again on 100.8 FM – more as and when it happens!
