Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir was established in 2010 to provide a musical celebration of Christmas with a series of performances at the SECC Glasgow.

Here are the highlights of the Celebration Choir from 2010-2019:

Christmas Celebrations: Annual spectaculars including at the SECC Glasgow, The City Halls, Glasgow, The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall plus Ayr and Edinburgh with audio/visual presentations and contributors from The Celebration Choir, orchestra from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The Gospel Heirs, Dave Brackenridge & Royal Foundlings, Scarlet Thread, Woodlands Primary School Choir.

Easter, Spring & Summer Celebrations: Seasonal specials at The City Halls, Glasgow and at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with audio/visual presentations and contributions from The Celebration Choir, orchestra from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The Gospel Heirs, Philippa Hanna, David Phelps, Dave Brackenridge & Royal Foundlings.

Since then, the Celebration Choir has grown in numbers and statue with over 150 members and involved in presentation to celebrate the important Easter Celebration when Christ was risen, and with a traditional and themed presentation prior to Christmas.

Concert presentations have taken place at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to serve demand from around the Greater Glasgow area; in Ayr at the Newton-Wallace Church of Scotland in Ayr town to serve the Ayrshire community and in Edinburgh at The Assembly Rooms, George Street in Edinburgh city centre.
