Defining Tracks – lunchtime on Revival FM

Tune into Me’N’U till 2 with Matt Dick on Revival FM for a new segment called ‘Defining Tracks’ featuring local leaders talking about the impact music has had on their life and faith walk.

Pastor David Randall from Falkirk Free Church is featured on the programme.

“My name is David Randall and I’ve been the pastor at Falkirk Free Church since March 2014, and really enjoy working among the church family and in the local community.

Previously I worked in accountancy in the oil industry in Aberdeen.

Before that, having been brought up in a Christian home and professing faith from an early age, I sensed God’s call into full-time ministry. I’ve served Church of Scotland congregations in Bo’ness and Newmilns, and now have been brought here to the Free Church congregation in Falkirk.

I’m married to Linnea, and we have four children – so life is rarely dull. When not in my study or involved in family time, you might see me out running, or playing football. I also enjoy movies and reading.

Our church building is situated right beside the busy Carron roundabout, where thousands of people drive past every day. Life can often feel a bit like a roundabout – you can sometimes feel like you’re going round and round in circles and don’t really know which direction to take.

At Falkirk Free Church we believe that we’ve discovered the very best direction for our whole lives. Jesus himself said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” as he declared himself to be the way to God; the way to abundant life now, and eternal life that never ends.

Following in his way doesn’t always prove to be the easy way, but we believe it’s the right way – and we’re always eager to share what we’ve discovered in Jesus Christ with others. So I invite you to come and be part of it.”
